Laigueglia

Since many years ranked in the Italian Most Beautiful Villages list, Laigueglia has preserved its characteristics of ancient fishing village. The old town is a pedestrian area and it has been preserved with its historical buildings, the squares overlooking the sea and the typical narrow alleys with shops and typical restaurants, all under the protection of the impressive Bastion and the colourful majolica cupolas of the San Matteo’s Church.

The fine-sand coastline is characterized by the presence of small beach establishments, where the water is always clear and the reefs are shallow. Upstream of the village, you can see hills covered in pine forests and olive groves, crossed by quiet paths where you can enjoy several activities, from Nordic Walking to mountain biking, always enjoying the breathtaking scenery of the bay.
